I can't believe some of the vitriol here towards EI. Yes its a terrible shame about the job loss but did anyone not see this coming as soon as the IAG deal was struck? They may be run as separate companies but IAG are pulling the strings and it makes business sense to make efficiency changes.
OneBellEnd - there is no point harping on about EI's business strategy and promises from years ago because the landscape completely changed once IAG bought them over.
