TC says we currently have 250 A/C and by 2020 we will receive 76 more. Thats 326 A/C and a forecast of 5800 pilots.
A quick look at the seniority list and you will see 4070 pilots.
4070 ÷ 250 = 16.28 pilots per aircraft today.
5800 ÷ 326 = 17.79 pilots per aircraft in 2020.

Oh wait... the drones Engineering are using for lightning strike checks mean less down time and more aircraft utilisation.
