Great Service
Flew in to Blackpool yesterday and although the terminal has gone, I have to say, what a friendly helpful bunch they are there. I emailed for PPR the night before at 10pm and had a reply at 5:30am the next morning confirming my arrival!! They advised ATC was shut 9-9:30 but despite me arriving late (9:05) they stayed open and cleared me to land on 10. Then after taxying to the parking area I sat and watched the scheduled flight to Isle of Man board its passengers from the verandah with a cup of (free) coffee with no security nonsense either!
Landing fee was a reasonable £11.40 and they even have a resident cat (called belle) to keep the kids amused now!
Great briefing facilities with free wifi available and drinks too.
A really great experience of a flight to a nice airport!
Really hope this place thrives this summer!!
