Question Australian Airway names

Can anyone explain the difference between Juliet, Quebec, Victor, Whisky, Yankee and Zulu airways on the En Route Low charts? I've Googled this to death and cannot find any document or site to explain the distinctions.

I am not including the A, B, G, H, UH, T, UY, airways that are on the En Route Hi charts.
