Some posters need to get real about the pax market of 7000/month when loads are practically less than half that at rock bottom fates. There were plenty of rotations between airports and it did not work so life goes on. Not all cancellations were the airlines fault- who the fcuk would build an airport on the side of a hill with plenty of flat land available in the Midleton area as originally proposed- consequences of this will always be suffered.
Marketing by the airline and knocking on the doors of businesses was full on and based on requirements for this route and loads it was going to be canned for some time. If ever an airline put effort into a new route from Cork, Cityjet beat them hands down in that area.
That route resembles the Cork hurling team over the last ten years- plenty of support but no cups
