Well after all of your experience, I don't know what I could pass on....except to say that I always start my DH-82 from the rear.
That way the switches are in easy reach and by using one of the 'top' struts, there is no tendency to 'lean into' the prop. which, with a bit of luck is about to become a 'whirling scimitar'....
I use the same for the Chippy.
