Have to disagree no Name, links to Sunair not completely lost at all.
For one thing the links to Sunair in the good(bad) old days were tenuous at best, however the only way that those links could be considered completely lost is if you lost the ability to walk the 100 metres from BFI to Sunair. Working alongside(geographically speaking)a twin IFR operator has got to be better than not working alongside one.If at the end of your training you want to push for that job, then walk over and talk to the big cheese in person.
Anyway, links to other operators on the TG field are one plus to Training at BFI,but remember Motitian Airlines are at least 200 hrs away & Sunair much, much further than that.
Best advice is to go to BFI and talk to them, they seem very approachable to me. Might pay also to ask the hard questions about the impending loss of full funding, and beware the usual - "there is going to be a huge shortfall of pilots worldwide in the next 10 years" line that all big(ish) flying schools seem to be trumpeting these days-worldwide -yes,NZ - NO!

Good Luck

ps ALL BLACK-in another post you mention flying for 10 years? What training do you require? Are you genuine?
