there has been cases with people failing grading with CX/KA and applied for KA, 3 cases i know are:
1) got his own PPL after failing CX and passed KA grading
2) got his own PPL after failing CX and failed KA grading
failed
3) not sure if he did more flying after failing KA and passed KA CTC (without grading)
doing more flying before applying again will show that you don't give up easily and that you're still interested in flying even if you don't get the job, but PPL is expensive and not everyone can afford flying lessons. so it's really up to you how much time and money are you willing to spend to achieve this dream of yours
