It started with more seats from Emirates, bigger aircraft for Delta on JFK, PIA increasing Islamabad, Shaheen starting Islamabad and Saudia introducing the brand new B787-9.
Next after Los Angeles are new routes to Aruba, Boston, Beijing, Phuket, Goa, Mauritius, Shanghai, Dubai DWC, and Tobago. This coupled with extra flights to Doha, Orlando, Las Vegas, Barbados, Jeddah and newer aircraft to Chicago.
With 3 new routes already announced, increases on several more and rumours of plenty more to come including Xi'an, 2017 looks to be just as strong thus far, as it's only May 1st!
