Not sure about flying on a cramped 787 is good for PVG-MAN. But they did order 350's as well, which are much more comfortable. Have asked SQ to put their 350 on MAN flight (direct) to replace their 77W (via MUC), worse aircraft they operate and pain to have to make the stop. We can hope, next flight to MAN is still on 77W....sigh.
787 is only as cramped as the airline desires.
You will have to wait until W17 for the A350 on the SQ. More likely to see QR operate the type first into MAN.
