How Ironic!

OK, I am trolling through the CAA web site as I am converting an old CAA for life, that is not for life, to an EASA licence. I have been told I need to get form SRG1199 signed off to prove I can speak English to ICAO Level 6. How Ironic to be reading the CAA's Guidance Note 2, Imporatant Information, where it has this line
" Language Proficiency:
In order to exercise the privileges of a Pilot licence were the operations of the aircraft require the use of radio
communications equipment, the individual must hold a valid Flight Radiotelephony Operator's Licence. Such a licence will
only be granted if the applicant holds a valid Language Proficiency Certificate in English in accordance with Appendix 2 of
Part-FCL.055 prior to licence application. Should you not hold a valid Language Proficiency in English; your application will
be returned".
I have underlined the word "were" as it should read "Where"!! How embarrasing to have such a grammatical error in such a documment? Or maybe if you spot it, then you can forgo the test?
