Bring on the wild speculation / rumors and then intelligently debunk them ourselves (without attacking each other, remember who the enemy is), perhaps then we may actually have a semblance of what "may" be expected.
As mentioned direct entry won't fix it, who will train them? It'll be even slower than now.
It should also settle down any CX hyped scare mongering.
