I don't mean to wee on anyones parade, and this applies to MAN maybe more than it does to BHX, but a large slice of me thinks recent successes at these airports are more due to restricted capacity in the SE. I'm pretty sure if Saudia, Cathay, Hainan, Beijing Capital could get in, or expand, LHR they would instead. The situation must be making route development at BHX / MAN a tad easier...but hey, long may that continue
