This thread is not about NSW Council amalgamations. I just used it as an example of how communities can successfully get leverage by concentrated local organisations.
The problem with the Aviation Industry is that it never gets any decent organisation together for anything so I don't see how anything Federally can be achieved during this coming period.
As an aside ,if your local community was about to be asset stripped and lose very scares local jobs for absolutely no advantages, I think that you would see it as more than who fills potholes? But this thread is the Aviation Industry in action so it probably will descend into name calling and undercutting your mates.
