Cork is 3 hours from Dublin airport. Business traffic will not tolerate a 3 hour journey to Dublin and consequently fly via Heathrow.
FYI 2h30m-2h45, the express bus can do 2h45m so a car could easily do 2h20m.

Obviously Heathrow until Norwegian come to Cork.
If the daa were that bad they wouldn't of been so nice to DY and even allow them explore services ex Cork. Cork would never of napped Iberia without daa either!

daa have their faults but Cork going along will not make much difference however it could result in the current volatile financial position which BFS/BHD find themselves in. Of course those replaced by SNN/ORK.

Not related to above but notice second air bridge will open for EI and charter usage in 2 weeks.

The daa is not just the problem at Cork, it's also EI/FR who will do whatever is required to protect profits ex DUB for them and the rest of the airports get the dips from that.
