100% agree , the airport can survive with a mix of Offshore , Biz Jet and GA traffic as long as it is properly run , and supported by the operating company.
More likely that the small operator e.g. Citywing continue to fit the passenger model for Blackpool with a small selection of routes , and a portfolio that doesn't require major Airport Terminal infrastructure to operate.
