Consider joining this outfit should the operation and maintenance of classic aeroplanes be your gig. For $70 per annum you get full membership rights, plus the brilliant quarterly RAG & TUBE. The issue , March 2016, just out, has some fascinating articles including one about an RAAF Second World War fighter pilot recently reunited most movingly with the very Tiger Moth he trained on at Parafield in 1941. There are always numerous fly-ins scheduled throughout the year, the most notable and well attended being the one around this time at Echuca, hosted magnificently by the cordial and proficient Echuca Aero Club.
