Reference the radar problems at Harbour, one of the guys from the club phoned today to ask for a practise ILS and was told the radar is properly knackered! Aldergrove are apparently providing radar service to inbounds but due to their coverage he was told a practise ILS was not going to happen. Apparently there are no spares available so not quite sure when its going to be fixed, looks like somebody has dropped a clanger somewhere!
I would have thought a piece of kit as important to the day to day operations would have had spares readily available? Seems a bit strange, must try and find out more.
