I beg to differ on your assessment of ATC services at WIHH and I've flown in and out of there over 50 times, some of those times under scheduled passenger service operations.
I had
generally good service, but two times they asked me to
expedite my taxi to the apron because they had landing traffic. The first time I told the controller that there would be no expediting anything and he should send the landing traffic around, which he did, as I was not about to heat my brakes up and lose eight tires because the traffic was not properly sequenced.
So, not a blanket endorsement of their services but I have had much, much worse.
