Virgin's A333s are pretty new, circa 2011/12, which I guess makes them 235 ton versions. You're right that it is a long sector for it, but not the longest for that variant. Note that VS is planning on operating the A333 to LAS this summer (IIRC) which is only some 200mi shorter.
Besides, it's a whole year off, who knows what will end up operating it?
