I know before the IAG takeover EI were really struggling to source additional A330 on lease, the only reason they're taking 2 more this year is because IAG activated 2 A333 options they had, so the halt on TCX expansion due lack of aircraft availability is very plausible. Low fuel prices combined with high demand I guess. As an interesting aside, apparently at current fuel prices it's more profitable to lease a B744 than a B772 at the moment even with identical loads purely due difference in leasing costs. Of course doing so would be very risky
