EasyJet Airbus crosswind capability vs ATR's & Dash 8 Q400's?
Today's EasyJet IOM-LGW service delayed due "strong winds in IOM". Aer Lingus and FlyBe getting in and out OK in ATR's, FlyBe doing just fine in their Q400's, and BA City Flyer (Eastern Airways) in their Saab 2000.

Is the Airbus really that poor in a crosswind, or are Easy just using weather to avoid possible delay compensation to their passengers due some other reason for the delay?
