If I remember correctly, IE6 was a big improvement on 5 because it is better software. It's smaller, faster and more secure. It wasn't simply an
update on 5.5. Hence the new Version number. Also, there is now a Service Pack for it. You should get the IE6
upgrade from a magazine disk and the SP from the web.
