I agree with your point of view. There are always places worse than EK. We are not denying that.

Where I disagree with you is the point where more people means more time with the family. This is where you lack the perspective of someone who is already here. This is why we are posting on PPRuNe. A perspective from those already in the system. EK will never hire enough so that we can have more time off with our families. They will hire enough to maintain pilot numbers to a ratio of their choice. It is pretty clear their choice is 99-92 hours per month. This will not change despite new hires. I have seen this happen time and time again, both in line pilots and trainers.

It your choice to take this on board or not. We are trying to make others aware so they don't make the same mistakes.
