Subtlety is overrated. Say what you mean and mean what you say, or don't say it at all.
The reality is that while being sacked would set most back financially, at least temporarily; it would also start a new career elsewhere. Chances are good that those employers would be far superior to our "masters" at CX. Very few companies still in business can get away with treating their employees with the contempt and disdain that CX does. CX gets away with it because of the proverbial "golden handcuffs" and the "refugee status" of so many of its pilots.
