Rumour blown out of all proportion.
A year ago, a single Chinese company did not recognize B738 PiC hours flown in Turkey towards their requirement for TRDECs, no matter whether one flew on SHGM or EASA licence. Maybe they still don't but if it's so, it's just company policy.
This is a decision made in the last few weeks. Nothing to do with the incident you're talking about.
