I know quite a few Aussie pilots with DUIs. Seems to be a right of passage for guys in Darwin.
1. Establish exactly what will happen. Get it in writing. CASA can change their minds...
2. It usually takes a few months for an application to filter through to being offered an interview.
3. Obviously don't do it again but use it as a learning point.
