Flights from London continued, though for a time the airline was not allowed to refuel at Heathrow and needed to make an additional stop at Manston in Kent on the journey to Tehran.
The Manston stop only lasted until December 2011 until the CEO* of the airport ended the arrangement on 'ethical' grounds. After that they switched to Prague which persisted until Febuary 2016.
