I see your point re stagnation but I can't see how they would be looking to copy a rival. Thats not really credible when you look at the financial results of the two companies. TUI/Thomson have been doing just fine.
Seat capacity wise, more long haul seats now. 300 on the 788 vs 258 on the 763. Short haul configs are the same. Also a new 345 config coming on the new 789 coming before the summer. Recent New long haul to Costa rica, Mexico Pacific Coast, Sri Lanka. Thailand etc. I doubt we'll see any major changes in short haul with recent volatilities in North Africa. Well certainly not till the Max arrives anyway.
