Ok here's a basic defenition. A "semi-glass" cockpit is one where there is very limited amount of ECAS used- examples being the 737-300/MD-80/757 in which usually the centre engine instruments and altimeter/airspeed indictor are analogue but there is an EHSI and EADI used( that is an EFS attitude indicator and an EFIS horizontal situatio idicator). A full glas cockpit- as on the A320/330/340/747-400/MD-11/777 have all the flight instruments as EFIS and no analogue dias are used whatsoever.
