Is any of this utter drivel actually relevant to the airlines, airports and routes thread in which it finds itself?
If you believe that the debate surrounding the disparity of public infrastructure expenditure in London and the South-East versus the regions is "utter drivel", may I suggest that you e.mail Manchester Airport Managing Director Ken O' Toole and tell him that? Because he delivered a powerful keynote conference speech on this very topic just this morning. In fact, it is directly because the Manchester Airport MD raised the topic today that it is being discussed in the 'Manchester Airport' thread. If the boss of the airport believes it is relevant, I suggest the subject is fair game for discussion here on the same day he spoke. That you may not like it is another matter altogether.

Don't forget that none of the regular contributors force you to read the "utter drivel" written on here. You do so by your own volition. So if you don't want to read it that's fine, but others find it of interest. Live and let live. Or maybe we should just consign the MD of Manchester Airport and his conference address to Jet Blast as well!??? Some in London would like that very much. Skip - where are you again? ;-)

By the way, excellent article linked in post 4344 above. Thanks eye2eye5.
