I'm wondering how would FR make ORK-CRL work when Are Lingus failed with ORK-BRU.
A better schedule would be the winner here
Late evening Friday + Sunday.
I say CRL, and not BRU, because Ryanair are avoiding non-Schengen expansion in BRU. It means being forced to use an air bridge. They made an exception for BRU-Dublin, because they wanted to compete directly with Aer Lingus. But they would be less likely to do this for ORK.
I also say CRL because it may be more likely to qualify for the route support scheme than BRU, since BRU operated recently from ORK.
Moreover, Ryanair need to contractually maintain certain passenger levels at CRL (as is clear from their ongoing expansion there: CPH + TLS +++).
Additionally slots are easier to obtain in CRL than in BRU.
