Great channel and I am hooked on it. Saw a film last week with plenty of hangar shots of Bristol Freighters.
And a couple of weeks before that, an early 1950s film with Gordon Jackson as an aircraft mechanic at Northolt (or perhaps Blackbushe?*) - but the
real stars were the close-ups of BEA Vikings!
Amazing how the hero and his female side-kick could just wander around airside in those days!
Edit: * I was probably right first time, Northolt. Internet says BEA only did Viking crew training from Blackbushe.
