Hang on a second there. Damn all has been culled from Cork and little or no difference from DUB since the IAG takeover as a whole. You just stated that a higher fare allows a lower yield market. That makes zero sense at all. High fares = high yield. At the end of the day more businesses in the Clare, Limerick, South Galway region head to Dublin due to the following reasons:
Early morning departure to transit/ final destination.
Late event departure to transit/ final destination
Less time lost commuting through LHR.
Cheaper fares by up to 50%.
I want to support my local airport but it would kill my business. The only destinations that are "business convenient" flying from SNN are NY and BOS from SNN.
