One of my folders (mostly jpegs) has suddenly filled up with a bunch of similarly named files but with the .exi suffix!
EXI files seen to be associated with an app from Exida -
exida - Software - exSILentia, PHAx, SILAlarm -

Never used it, never heard of it, never used it.
All virus scans clean.
Deleting the .exi files doesn't seem to affect the non-.exi files that open and close without problems.
Any idea what is going on here?
