I was one of the successful candidates for the FPP last year and made two return trips from Northern Australia for the assessment phase and once successful, for the medical. All at personal expense. Once on the scheme, the school does pay for your flights to Phoenix or NZ but out of a payment you make to them at the beginning of training, so you do pay for it in that sense!
