From: last time I looked I was still here.
And don't even start with the so called self-employed contractors who have X year fixed rate deals and no negotiating power. Last time I employed a contractor HE told ME what the job would cost, and then if there were any over-runs. We agreed and he got on with it. Next year rates went up, if inflation did. Some of the selfie contractors should look at where their rates were 10 years ago and where they are now versus inflation; remembering a jump at X year interval does not recover a lack of year on year inflation rise.
Happy days long gone.
