Hole in the runway?
Missed that, Shed. What took place and where? I was once sat at the 'T' hold of 23L and watched a departing heavy blow a patch of tarmac out of the threshold. We ended up last in the queue to depart from 23R, but that was inevitable given the traffic flow.
No big deal, just wonder if this has been a recurring problem?
