I thought the whole point of the 50m investment in BOH was to allow aircraft to land in CATIII zero visibility conditions?
2. B'mth International Growth scheme:
Instead of resurfacing roads the money should be spent on securing routes which are important to the town - perhaps to the Channel Islands, the cargo services, and securing a route to connect domestically with MAN. A fraction of the amount that is being invested in 'BIG' would be required and would actually result in passengers - not an empty terminal.
3. Pax volumes
BOH handled over 31,000 pax in Dec'15 taking the annual total in 2015 to 705,000. This is likely to massively drop to 500,000 in 2016. easyJet seemed to have much less passengers on the GVA route in Dec compared to the year before? Why is this?
