Desert Busdriver, I think the difference is the 330/340 guys have always known that the crappy rosters are temporary. Eventually you were always going to fly less as the fleet was run down and then move across to the 380.
Anybody on the 777 now is looking at what their rosters are going to be like for the foreseeable future- and by that I mean decades, not years. In fact they will probably get worse as the 380 takes more layovers from the Boeing.
