On finals now lovely sound of engines
Was under the flight path around that time, alas traffic noise and wind negated the sound to the point of making it indistinct.
Where did the AN124 go once on the ground ? Surely not into the BA maintenance area ? Any photos ?
lovely aircraft, I was able to fly on a 124 a few times for a job I once had and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
Was it very noisy ? I've been inside a few of them over the years at air shows etc, very 'blue' inside the cockpit and old school, though not as Captain Nemo style as the AN22
