I don't understand the OP's comments surrounding the links he posted. There was plenty "in it". As was widely reported by various media throughout yesterday, a written threat was found around 09.00 UTC when the flight was over the Atlantic with all diversionary fields just about as far away as they could be. Two hours later the aircraft reached Shannon. This allowed the emergency and specialist services to be assembled but, for those on board who knew of the threat, it will have been a difficult 120 minutes.

Why is the last link less credible? It contains as much factual information as the rest.

The aircraft remained on the ground until after its scheduled arrival time in Istanbul. It was then searched and cleared, leaving at 18.45 UTC. No doubt the Garda interviewed those on board in the intervening seven hours.
