I think everybody including the manufacturers have accepted the shortfalls in pilot training.
But have avoided the issue. From where I stand effective action is negligible. Lip service only. Like add one more raw data ILS per year to a sim session plus maybe a manually flown ILS in good weather and no crosswind of course. Fat lot of good that does to address the automation dependency problem.
