With the feed coming from the UK regions and the wider European area there is surely a viable market to make this route work on at least three times a week basis a la Orlando. There are very large trade conferences there every week so LAS is not as purely leisure dominated as you would initially think. Strikes me as EI being overly cautious, hopefully IAG will push it through as part of their planned accelerated expansion to the US ex DUB.
As I said above I think such a service would be more commercially viable today that before however at the minute there is far more lucrative opportunities for EI in the US before LAS would be considered.
