I think you've hit the nail on the head there. They would probably make more money putting a 3rd flight a day into BOS or ORD or a 4th into Kennedy.
BA regularly cancel one of their JFK flights ex LHR to fit in something else that's been delayed. Now that people from the UK regions can earn and spend Avios with EI funnelling them through DUB from the UK regions to free up a couple of slots at LHR might really appeal to them.
MAN and GLA do have LAS links with VS and TC but as has been stated their populations are far higher. A big chunk of EI pax are US tourists visiting the old sod, not as a large of an Irish American presence in Nevada I should think.
