Dude I'm trying to help you. Wrong about the tie down, that only occurs once you sign a contract, until then you are free to do what you want. Things change here rapidly, local Chinese pilots are even moving company (after some major hassle) but the point is that they are doing it. There is also a lot of misinformation on this site about working in China, I suspect from those that didn't like it here or have failed selection. It definitely doesn't suit everyone. By doing the selection process at each airline you are interested in you will meet others that work there and will get a much better idea of what you want to do. Am not being a smart arse but I am sick to death of ex colleagues saying things like 'I might consider going there' etc. Pass the selection, pass the caac check, then talk.
