If it is misleading info the info came from Southend Airport's own website and no I didn't attempt a dummy booking. Still doesn't change the fact that Valet parking would have to be below turn up and go parking as that parking is by the terminal.
I see that easyjet only have one departure today. Well at least it is safe to say that flights have bottomed out now with BE contributing just an additional 3 departures. If there is more pain to come it won't make much difference now to passenger figures for midweek in winter.
I have to say I find it a complete mystery why Southend is struggling when everyone agrees it offers the best passenger experience. OK transport links could be better early and late in the day but the standard daytime service is just fine and with a station just metres from the terminal the airport should be thriving.
