I think you're either significantly overestimating CODA's catchment area or significantly underestimating IWAK's with that statement. The area of the island for which CODA is the nearest geographical airport is actually quite limited - it amounts to much, but not all of Derry (parts of the county are closer to Belfast International), a small part of north Antrim, the part of Tyrone that is north of Omagh and north east Donegal. Everywhere else would be closer to another international airport.
