I can't understand how a flight that has run successfully for 9 years is all of a sudden unviable. It appears to be a victim of Ryanair scheduling where it was only run in July last year with June then added as an after thought but no flights for August.
Or perhaps Ryanair are looking at who else is operating it and think the market is getting too crowded so that it might risk a loss this year.
I was on the flight 10 times last summer (commuting) and it was always full. I obviously don't know about the yield though. And even if that was the issue then run the flight once per week instead of twice.
Whatever the truth surely despite Ryanair's pronouncements this would be a good route for another company. Might be a bit late for this year though.
