I suspect a lot of different factors might have been involved, for example:
1/ Vref too high
2/ Touchdown too late (No attempt to smack it down)
3/ Serious standing water
4/ Rubber deposits and no grooves
5/ Lack of fuel to divert, or get it down itis.
6/ Far Eastern brake pads
